What started as a place for him to run became something much bigger: a life project. Seven years ago we moved to the mountains of Cookeville, Tennessee, where the farm has grown to more than double its original size in land and animals. To us, Caballo Viejo is the story of life itself, summarized in two verses and a chorus. At Caballo Viejo, our animals live in their natural habitat, respected for what they are.
